Sakura Kitsune is a Flower Fox spirit (Japan: kitsune, Korea: kumiho, China: huli-jing). She is around 500 years old and her tails have the markings of sakura (cherry blossom!) She is often found with her best friend, Mugunghwa Kumiho, around their representative trees, frolicking or eating udon.
Cherry blossoms are a symbol of love and a sign of good fortune. Sakura is also Japan’s unofficial national flower!
